Huggies Skin Protect Nappies - Frequently Asked Questions

Skin Protect nappies are designed for babies who need extra help with skin care. They have a liner enriched with zinc (the same ingredient found in nappy rash creams) to help protect against irritation, with visibly less redness on skin.

Zinc creates a barrier on your baby’s skin, which protects it from irritants and visibly reduces redness on skin. It’s the same ingredient commonly used in nappy rash creams, but built right into the nappy liner.

Most parents find they don’t need as much cream when using Huggies Skin Protect nappies, but every baby is different. If your baby has ongoing skin issues, check with your doctor or nurse for advice.

Huggies Skin Protect nappies don’t have added fragrance, lotions, or other common irritants. If your baby has allergies or sensitivities, it’s always best to check with your healthcare professional before trying something new.

Huggies Skin Protect Open nappies are available in these sizes:

Size 1: Up to 5kg
Size 2: 4–8kg
Size 3: 6–11kg

Once your baby is ready for Size 4, Huggies Skin Protect is available in Nappy Pants.
